More than just a charcoal grill, the Kasai konro uses a natural clay material to optimise heat retention, reflecting heat back into the grill and to the food. As the konro has superior insulative properties, the charcoal burns longer than in conventional cookers, helping to maximise cooking times without having to change or add fuel. The special design of the grill also delivers those searing hot temperatures (up to 350°C) needed to lock in natural flavours without imparting other aromas.

The Robata rack is a game changer for the charcoal connoisseur. It takes the Kasai hibachi grill to a new level, allowing it to go from being used for a small number of ingredients at a time, to one you can now focus the full menu around.
