Create the 3D "Gadget" quilt using only shades of 2 fabrics plus the background and a 60 degree equilateral triangle.  Cut fabric strips then cut the strips with the equilateral triangle tool.   No "Y" seams or mirror images, the piecing is simple, sew the rows following the color chart for an unusual and fun 3D quilt.
