The PowerPac Ceramic Cooker Steamboat PPIC832 makes use of far-infrared light to heat food. It is especially suitable for modern family cooking. Its main characteristics are as follows:

Among the many numerous Safety protections installed include:
- Over-heat protection: if the temperature of cooker surface is over 650 deg C, the cooker will be protected automatically
- Inner-temperature over-heat protection: when the inner temperature reaches 95 deg C, the cooker will be protected automatically
- High-voltage protection: once voltage is over 275 V, the cooker will shut off automatically
- Low-voltage protection: once voltage is under 95 V, the cooker will shut off automatically
- Constant-temperature over-heat protection: when the temperature of cooker surface reaches 580 deg C, the cooker will shut off automatically
