Blanca has little use for weighing her portions when she's home, so she sets her pristine white scale near the window and mounts her orchid on top. The beauty of her classic equipment as a plant stand, suits her just fine. Then she packs up her scale with her checkered oil cloth and heads to the farmer's market on the weekends. Not only does her scale fit perfectly in her shop, but she loves it when her customer's admire it and tell wonderful stories of the days when "Grandma used to use it for....."
