Here at Sparksmith, we are looking to expand the line of bolt on lighting accessories available for the GMT800 chassis trucks. One way to do that is with these incredible DRL grille bars. Your truck already has the wiring for it, why not use it in a much more effective and dynamic way?
This kit will include two or four LED strips and a plug and play wiring harness. The harness will work with any 99-07 GMC or Chevrolet truck of this type (GMT800 chassis). The base harness has three 3157 jumpers. Two go to the driver's side (Park/Turn bulb and DRL), the other goes to the passenger side Park/Turn bulb. Jumpers allow you to continue to run your stock DRL and park/turn signal bulbs.
VERY IMPORTANT: USE THE INCLUDED DIELECTRIC GREASE IN YOUR STOCK SOCKETS. IF YOU DO NOT, THE CONTACTS WILL CORRODE AND THE BAR WILL STOP WORKING. THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
That's it! No cutting, no soldering, no crimping, no modification to your stock wiring, whatsoever. What's even better? We have integrated HD Load resistors. This will allow you to run LED turn signal bulbs without the effects of . It really couldn't get any better.
